Last week I saw Renzo Martens' video Episode 3 Enjoy Poverty at the Berlin Biennale.  It is an extremely problematic piece and yet, or perhaps because of that fact, I have had many lively discussions with friends who have seen it.  It is a piece that proves it points by reenacting the same types of exploitation that it is denouncing.  I have yet to meet someone who has seen it and not had a very strong opinion about it.  I wish it were available to view online but the trailer is the only thing available:

If you have seen it, what do you think about it?  I personally feel incredibly ambivalent about it, I think it is effective in spurring discussion but also sickening to watch at points.  What do you think?
