I am a Miami based Artist and Illustrator, born in Edmonton, Canada. I grew up in Munich, Germany, where I studied 4 semesters Art History at the University of Munich, then did a one-year Internship at the Lehrinstitut für Design, for Product, Graphic and Interior Design near Dusseldorf, Germany before moving to Zurich, Switzerland, where I got my Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design, specializing in Set and Stage Design. Afterwards I moved to Miami, Florida to pursue my career in Fine Arts, while working as a freelance Illustrator and Designer.
My Art can be described as Cartoonism, with Pop Surrealism and Street art influence. The media of choice is mainly acrylics, oil, mixed media and collage.
A large part of my art is commissioned animal portraiture, painted or drawn. I also created a line of plush objects as artsy toy designs.
Besides residential, private commissions I won a public competition in 2015 for a large skale graphic Art project downtown Miami on a new construction apartment high-rise. My art has been showcased in Miami at Gallery 212, Brisky Gallery, Wyn317 and CMYK Gallery.
